Assuming you already have Mount & Blade: Warband (MBW) installed,

  • Make sure MBW is up to date, version 1.134.

    • Version can be checked on the MBW pre-loader.

  • Download the Mount and Musket (MM) mod. Current version: Beta 0.4.2

    • Grab a Full Installer from the official MM forum.

  • Find your MBW installation path.

    • Steam MBW installation path:

    • Non-Steam MBW installation path:

  • Run the downloaded MM installer.

  • At the Select Destination Location step of the installation, verify that the path points correctly to the installation location of MBW. If not, enter the correct location, suffixed by 'Modulesmm russia3'.

  • Finish the installer.

To play the mod, launch the game and when presented with the pre-launcher, select mm russia3 from the Current Module drop-down menu.

Note: The Desura installer has been causing some players problems, so choose the Download now option from the moddb site and get the plain installer.
